DCD to Produce "Pregnant Man" Film
The British media company will soon give birth to documentary.
DCD Media Plc, an independent British television producer and distributor, has gained the rights to make a documentary featuring the "Pregnant Man," according to Reuters. The company's September Films will make an hour-long film featuring Thomas Beattie, the world's first pregnant man.
NBDtv/DCD Media, the distributor who owns DCD Media Plc, will license rights to the film internationally, according to Reuters. The company has already settled on prices with the United States and Germany, the news agency reports.
Beattie, who was born as female Tracy Lagondino, underwent gender reassignment to become a man. He gave birth to a girl on June 29, People magazine reported.
Beattie first gained attention after being featured on Oprah.
