De Niro Not Hard to Work With

Actor insists he's a team player.

Veteran actor Robert De Niro has fired back at rumors that he is difficult to work with, defending that he maintains harmony with anyone he works with while making a film, WENN reports.

The star insists that he tries very hard to get along with fellow actors and directors, well aware that even when things run smoothly, filming can be a challenge. "Difficult? Me? I don't think I am difficult compared to other people. It is hard to make movies at the best of times, so you don't want to give people a hard time," De Niro defends.

While the actor admits that naturally creative differences will occur, he insists he has the maturity to handle them in ways that will not hinder the project at hand.

He maintains: "You can look into my background all you like, but I have never had problems with authority on film sets. Even if I disagree with a film director, I work through it."
