Debbie Rowe Seeks Custody

Michael Jackson's ex-wife wants to be the legal guardian of Micahel Jr. and Paris.

Debbie Rowe, Michael Jackson's ex-wife and the woman who gave birth to his two oldest children, now wants custody of Michael Jr. and Paris, according to TMZ.com.

Contrary to some reports, Rowe claims that she is the biological mother of the two and is willing to submit a DNA test to prove it. According to PatriotLedger.com, there has been speculation that Jackson and Rowe used a sperm donor and an egg donor and that Rowe only gestated Michael Jr., 12, and Paris, 11. An anonymous surrogate gave birth to Prince, 7, also known as "Blanket."

According to ABCNews.com, in his will, Jackson wanted his mother Katherine Jackson to have custody of his three children should he die prematurely. Jackson's children have been staying with his mother in Encino, Calif., since his death Thursday. They have reportedly been crying for their nanny, Grace Rwaramba, who is not involved in the custody battle.

Rowe gave up her parental rights after giving birth to Paris and received a large sum of money, according to PatriotLedger.com. Neither Jackson nor Rowe legally adopted the children, although a court once declared them the children's legal parents.

According to ABCNews.com, if his mother could not take care of the children, Jackson wanted them to go to Diana Ross.
