Debut of "The Lovely Bones" Trailer
Another film from a book has ventured from Hollywood; the trailer for "The Lovely Bones" was released today. This adaptation is from the book by Alice Sebold's "The Lovely Bones." Released in 2002, the book quickly became a national best seller after Oprah Winfrey used it for her book club. The film is by Peter Jackson, better know for "The Lord of The Rings" trilogy and "King Kong."
If the movie is half of what the preview looks like, it should be good; but will it delight fans of the book?
The book and film is about a 14-year-old girl who is murdered and must watch the aftermath from Heaven. "Atonement's" Saoirse Ronan plays Susie, parents are played by Mark Wahlberg and Rachel Weisz, grandmother by Susan Sarandon and Stanley Tucci as the murderer.
The movie is slotted to come out December 2009.
