DeGeneres Marries de Rossi

Acording to E! Online and People, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi exchanged vows on Saturday evening at their $29 million home.

A source said, "It was all close friends and family," and added that no celebrity guests were seen.

Reportedly, the guests numbered less than 30, and they started arriving at around 6:30 p.m. dressed formally for the occasion.

Wedding plans for the couple had been announced back on May 15 on DeGeneres's show after the California Supreme Court decided against a ban on gay marriage declaring it unconstitutional much to the delight of her audience.

The couple have been together since December 2004, and DeGeneres said while on the red carpet for the 2008 Daytime Emmy Awards, "I can't wait to be married. I feel like it is long overdue. I think someday people will look back on this like women not having the right to vote and segregation and anything else that seems ridiculous like we all don't have the same rights."
