Demi Lovato Is Working on New Album
Newly crowned pop princess, Demi Lovato, is working on her sophomore album, which is scheduled to release this year, in July.
In a Radio Disney interview, Lovato revealed her upcoming plans this year. Lovato said that "the new album's music sounds a little bit more mature, but still a little bit more soulful, but still me." She says that it took "two weeks writing it. [We have] two weeks to record it. And the final copy is due in May. . . . The last album was recorded in just ten and a half days."
Lovato wrote some of her new songs with some of her musical inspirations: Jon McLaughlin and William Beckett, from the Academy Is.
Demi Lovato is best known for her leading role in Disney movie Camp Rock. Also, she has opened for the Jonas Brothers on their American tour. Currently, she is in a Disney series, Sonny with a Change.
Lovato has a summer tour starting in June, which ends at the end of August. Tickets start at $40.
