Actress Demi Moore was hospitalized last Monday and a week later, she is reportedly doing fine, according to a friend.

At the Directors Guild Awards Saturday in Hollywood, director and friend Patty Jenkins spoke to the media about Moore’s condition, saying that she is doing much better since she was hospitalized.

Jenkins, who won an award for directing the pilot episode of The Killing, told E! News that she had just seen the Margin Call actress and that “she’s doing great.” Jenkins added that, “Demi is awesome and so strong. I also hate when people make it a bigger drama than what is going on. She's great."

Jenkins directed Moore in Five for Lifetime, which was also nominated for an award. "It's terribly sad that she's not here, but she'll be great in two seconds,” Jenkins told Us Weekly.

Moore’s Five co-stars were able to attend the show and also spoke about her. Penelope Spheeris said that it “would have been nice” if Moore could have come, but “...we all wish Demi the best and I hope we all get together soon."

Meanwhile, the exact cause of Moore’s hospitalization is still being speculated. TMZ previously reported that she may have inhaled nitrous oxide, which may have caused her to have seizure-like symptoms. On Friday, the 911 tape was released, but the Los Angeles City Fire Department redacted all references to specific drugs and other substances Moore may have taken for privacy concerns.

Moore recently separated from husband Ashton Kutcher. However, a friend insisted to E! News that this did not happen because of Kutcher. "I'm sure Ashton would like to think it's all about him...What [Demi's] going through now is not just things not working out with Ashton,” the friend said.
