Actress Demi Moore may have checked in to a hospital on Monday, but she apparently also checked out of her role in upcoming film Lovelace.
Moore's representative confirmed on Tuesday that the actress pulled out of the Linda Lovelace biopic film Lovelace. She was cast for the role of Gloria Steinem, a women's rights activist. The film, directed by John Epstein and Jerry Friedman began shooting in December and will feature other stars such as Amanda Seyfried, Adam Brody and Sharon Stone. Moore's reasoning for dropping the job is unknown, but could perhaps be correlated to her health.
On Monday evening, Moore was taken to the hospital after a friend of Moore's called 911 after she began "shaking" and "acting like she was suffering from a seizure," E! Online reports. After a 30-minute assessment, the 49-year-old actress was treated and appeared to have recovered from the incident. However, she sought further medical attention to focus on her exhaustion problem.
"Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health," her representative disclosed in a statement. "She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends."
