Los Angeles officials plan on releasing the 911 call that was made from actress Demi Moore’s home earlier this week. The actress’ friends called to have her rushed to the hospital on Monday.
The Los Angeles Times first reported that the tape will have to be edited before it goes public, so it probably will not reveal any more information than what the media already knows. The Los Angeles City Attorney's office suggested to the Los Angeles Fire Department to delete portions in order to follow federal medical privacy laws before it is made public.
The Los Angeles Times later reported that the tape is likely to not be fully redacted until next week, when they finally expect to be able to release the tape. Law enforcement officials told the Times that it is standard procedure to delete any private information from a tape before making it public.
According to MSNBC, Moore has already been released from the hospital, but it is not clear if she has returned home. Moore was admitted to the hospital Monday after she had what unnamed sources described as seizures. Sources for TMZ said that she was inhaling nitrous oxide, which may have lead to the seizures. People’s sources say that she had been taking prescription drugs, which may have lead to her break-up with husband Ashton Kutcher.
For now, the only official word from Moore’s representative is that she was hospitalized “to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health.” Moore was forced to pull out of Lovelace, and will be replaced by Mary Louise Parker.
