Demi Moore may no longer have Ashton Kutcher, but she’s still got her family and a great group of close friends.
Us Weekly reported the G.I. Jane actress’s friends only have good wishes for the star, who was noticeably absent at the 64th Annual Directors Guild of America Awards in Hollywood Saturday.
Moore was nominated with Jennifer Aniston, Alicia Keys, Patty Jenkins and Penelope Spheeris for co-directing Lifetime’s breast cancer series, Five.
While making the red carpet rounds, Spheeris told reporters that she wished Moore could have been at the awards ceremony.
"It would have been nice [to have Demi here], but given circumstances, life goes on and first things first," the 66-year-old said. "And we all wish Demi the best and I hope we all get together soon."
Jenkins also supported her friend, saying she was “one of my favorite people in the world" and "one of the greatest girls I've met in Los Angeles."
The 40-year-old also said that she knows Moore will recover quickly and be “great in two seconds.”
According to CBS News, the actress was hospitalized Monday after suffering a seizure.
TMZ alleges Moore was trying to get high off nitrous oxide, also known as “whip-its.” Meanwhile, ex-husband Kutcher was shooting a catalog in Brazil.
