Depeche Mode Readies New "Sounds of the Universe" Plus New Tour

Musicians Depeche Mode continue their 28-year music legacy with a new music release and tour.

As reported by Billboard.com, the synth pioneers plan to release their twelfth studio release, Sounds of the Universe, on April 21, 2009. The band will also promptly continue with their "Tour of the Universe" world tour, in support of their new release, with North American dates already scheduled for summer of 2009.

Sounds of the Universe embraces the band's organic Electronic roots, and the titled track, "Wrong," will be the lead single released off the band's forthcoming release.

Depeche Mode joins music pantheons such as the Rolling Stones, the Cure, and U2 as bands who have sustained recording, touring, and career longevity within the music industry.
