Desperate Housewives celebrates season two DVD launch
Cast and crew gathered on the Wisteria Lane set to celebrate the new DVD.
Stars Nicolette Sheridan, Felicity Huffman, Eva Longoria and Teri Hatcher attended the "Desperate Housewives" season two DVD launch party Saturday with their cast and crew, held on the Wisteria Lane set at Universal Studios.
While castmate Marcia Cross was noticeably absent, Eva Longoria had plenty to say about the show's past season and the upcoming year for her character Gabrielle.
"I'm so proud of this DVD because I think once you see it, you'll really realize how good Season two was, instead of listening to, just, critics saying 'Oh, they're in a slump. Oh, it wasn't like last year,'" she said. "When you really look at the DVD, and specifically Gabrielle's storyline and Gabrielle's arc, there was so much there. This was definitely the best work I've ever done in my life."
Discussing her character's plan to have a child through a surrogate mother next season, Longoria said, "Within the first two or three episodes, the baby thing is solved, resolved, something."
"Desperate Housewives: The Complete Second Season; Extra Juicy Edition" features bloopers and behind-the-scenes footage, as well as a new untelevised storyline.
