Destiny's Child Comeback Possibly Delayed
The much-anticipated reunion of the trio of R&B divas also known as Destiny's Child was put to a halt when member Beyonce Knowles injured her right hamstring during rehearsal for an upcoming television special.
"She overdid it," said Columbia spokeswoman Yvette Noel-Schure. "We're all keeping our fingers crossed that, because she's young and healthy, it heals fast."
According to Billboard, Knowles is currently being treated by a sport-injury specialist and has been advised to avoid strenuous activity, including dancing, for a week.
Knowles, and fellow group members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams have all had much individual success in the past couple of years. Their new album, "Destiny Fulfilled" is scheduled for release on Nov. 16. Their first single, "Lose My Breath" has already been getting airplay. This will be the first album as a group since their successful album "Survivor," which was released in 2001.
