Details of Chelsea Clinton's Wedding

The first daughter is having a $3 million wedding

First daughter Chelsea Clinton has a very large wedding coming up. She is planning to use every penny of her $3 million budget.

Her tents will be $600,000 and they will have glass walls. Brian Rieke, director of operations for Stamford Tent & Event Services, says that the tents will be anything but standard.

Clinton’s flowers will be $500,000 and head designer Rory Pierpont says that the extravagant choices include flown-in orchids and Casablanca lilies.

In an effort to protect the high-level politicians and celebrities, We TV and Wedding Central expert, Diann Valentine, is planning to shut down air space. According to nydailynews.com, Clinton will be spending $200,000 dollars on security.

Jimmy Vali is rumored to be performing at the wedding. Vali usually charges $28,000 for his bookings, but for this wedding, the price will be much higher.

Clinton’s dress alone will be $25,000. For all the guests, there will be $30,000 of wine, champagne and cocktails; $60 dollars per person, and that is just for drinks.

Correction: A previous version of this article stated Sharon Stimpfle is being paid $200,000. Ms. Stimpfle is neither a wedding planner, nor is she being paid $200,000. Further, Ms. Stimpfle is the Deputy Site Director of WeddingChannel.com, not TheKnot.com.
