DeVito Drunk on The View

DeVito still drunk after his night out with "People's sexiest man alive," George Clooney.

Actor Danny DeVito apparently had a little too much fun on Tuesday night with actor George Clooney and showed up on ABC's The View, on Wednesday morning, still drunk.

DeVito plopped into his seat on the show and began rambling about his hatred toward President Bush, explaining how he drank too much the night before, and his sex life with his wife, Rhea Perlman. Needless to say, Barbara Walters was a little taken back by the whole thing. She was only expecting to discuss his new movie, Deck the Halls.

Although he called our current president "numb nuts" on the show, he did explain how he liked our former president, Bill Clinton, and told Walters how Clinton actually invited DeVito and Perlman to stay in the Lincoln bedroom, where DeVito confessed, they "made it [their] business to really wreck the joint."

Supposedly, after the show, DeVito told his publicist, Stan Rosenfield, that he wanted to apologize to Barbara Walters for the way he acted on her show. He plans on his apology being made in private and only to Walters herself. Walters however, doesn't think any less of the actor and in fact, raves that she would still have him on the show again.

Rosie O'Donnell has just recently joined the show and she backs Walters up when it comes to defending DeVito. "Danny DeVito is not an alcoholic. He's just a guy who had too many to drink with his friends," O'Donnell said Thursday. "He was here, he was enjoying himself, he had a wonderful night out and he was a little drunk."
