DiCaprio and Crowe to be in "Body of Lies."
Russell Crowe and Leonardo DiCaprio will star in Ridley Scott's upcoming film, "Body of Lies." Crowe plays a CIA boss who creates a scheme for DiCaprio's journalist-turned-spy to capture an Al Qaeda leader.
The movie is based on the David Ignatius novel of the same name. The script was written by William Monahan, who wrote the Oscar-winning "The Departed."
Shooting for "Body of Lies" is set to start this fall. It will be the fourth collaboration between Crowe and Ridley Scott, who teamed up for "Gladiator" and "A Good Year."
The other collaboration is the upcoming "American Gangster," which pits Crowe against Denzel Washington. That film is set to be released on Nov. 2.
Scott and Crowe will also team up next year for the Robin Hood-inspired "Nottingham," in which Crowe stars as the title character.
Crowe's next film, the Western drama "3:10 to Yuma," debuts in theaters on Oct. 5.
