Current Oscar-nominee Leonardo DiCaprio isn't resting after his stellar performance in Blood Diamond. His newly announced project will take a stab at corporate greed and the 2001 Enron scandal, in which he will play a new hire to the firm who slowly discovers corrupt dealings.
Studio Warner Brothers will make the film, and adapt it from "Conspiracy of Fools", a book written by NY Times journalist Kurt Eichenwald. Eichenwald's book, although factual, turned the large-scale white collar fraud scheme into a thrilling account that WB hopes to bring to the big screen. Enron has already been the subject of on Oscar-nominated documentary in 2005.
DiCaprio is definitely switching it up after playing an ex-mercenary searching for a valuable conflict diamond in Blood Diamond.
