Things weren't exactly perfect between Rihanna and Chris Brown before their fight on Sunday. According to EOnline, Rihanna believed that Brown was cheating on her with another woman.

The singer's friends spoke to EOnline, saying, ""Rihanna hired people to follow Chris whenever he went on tour."

With the news of Sunday's domestic violence dispute, more and more inside sources are coming out to speak with the media about the couple's relationship. Rumors are also swirling about Rihanna being an overly clingy and protective girlfriend.

"I know he was followed throughout the whole leg of his European tour," the source said, "and sometimes [the United States] as well. Anytime she couldn't be with him."

Rihanna was so paranoid because "she was sure he was hooking up with other girls," according to the source.

The singer's publicist couldn't be reached for comment.
