Did Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri Call It Quits?

Looks like Janet Jackson is having a bad summer.

In addition to the death of her brother Michael, it has been rumored that she and boyfriend Jermaine Dupri have split.

A source told US Weekly that Jackson and Dupri were going in different directions and that the breakup has been on the horizon for awhile.

Dupri was absent from Michael's memorial service, but an insider claims that he doesn't attend funerals.

Jackson, 43, and Dupri, 36, are polar opposites when it comes to personality. She is very quiet and reserved while he enjoys mingling with people and is very outgoing.

Dupri produced several songs on Jackson's last two albums, and she felt like their lives were too crossed, a friend told US Weekly.

Right now Jackson is busy caring for her late brother's children. She was previously married to Rene Elizondo. They divorced in 2000.
