We all know Jennifer Aniston is more than comfortable with her body but is she comfortable enough to bare her breasts on the big screen? Kind of. After rumors circulated the web that a scene in Wanderlust features a topless Aniston, speculation followed that the actress banned directors from using this clip.
An insider explained to TheWrap that the movie was originally edited with the frontal shot of her breasts. The source said that Aniston later requested a toned down version of the scandalous scene. She reportedly did not want to upset her boyfriend and Wanderlust costar, Justin Theroux.
So the question is, did she or didn’t she? Stephen Huvane, Aniston’s publicist, confirmed that the actress was not responsible for the alterations.
“The scene is how it was always supposed to be,” he said.
Also, a representative for Universal made a statement regarding the changes.
“The scene was shot a bunch of different ways, and we have the best possible version.”
In theatres, audiences can expect to see the 43-year-old topless but her bare breasts will be pixelated. Sorry to those who were expecting to see some more skin!
Wanderlust is about a couple, played by Aniston and Paul Rudd, that find themselves abruptly unemployed. They choose to pack up their bags and move from Manhattan to a free-love community where they meet a slew of interesting inhabitants.
Check out the movie set to appear in theaters on Feb. 24!
