Did Justin Bieber pop the question to Selena Gomez?
Broken up, engaged, pregnant? The rumors never stop when you are one of Hollywood’s most popular couples. After seeing a diamond ring gracing Selena Gomez’s finger, fans are speculating whether or not Justin Bieber proposed to his girlfriend over the weekend.
The piece of jewelry behind this rumor is a gorgeous diamond ring in the shape of a ‘J’. Gomez posted a photograph of the ring worn on her right index finger on Instagram. Although we cannot see any faces, it is assumed that the person’s hand she is holding in the picture is Bieber’s.
According to E! Online, “I’m finally home =)” was the caption below the photo.
Gomez is referring to her return to the United States after playing a worldwide tour with her band, The Scene.
To celebrate her homecoming and Valentine’s Day, Bieber and Gomez spent the weekend in New York City. According to Hollywood Life, the pop stars stayed at the lavish London Hotel while in the city. The teens enjoyed the hotel’s Penthouse Suite that goes for a reported $2,000 per night.
“The London Penthouse is going to be the largest the hotel has. It’s on the 53rd & 54 floor [a split level], 2 bedroom 2 bath with a king bed in the master bedroom,” a source said.
The suite has views of Central Park, the Hudson River, and the George Washington Bridge. It also features a marble fireplace, luxurious dining room, and three LCD flat screen TVs.
While the Grammy hoopla was taking place on Sunday, the lovebirds continued their romantic weekend in Manhattan at a Thai bistro. It is a good thing they snuck off to enjoy a quiet dinner for two because Bieber reserved Valentine’s Day evening for his mother.
“I’m going to take my mom out for dinner, cause you know, we are on a plane on a flight,” he told his fans via Twitter.
I don’t think the two youngsters will be getting married anytime soon, but this ring does symbolize that things are going well in the pair’s high-profile relationship. Although Bieber fanatics may disagree, hopefully one day the teen heartthrob will officially make Gomez “One Less Lonely Girl”.
