Did You See... Fine Gardening to Fit Pregnancies

Well, this is the initial column where I'll take a look at what the competition is working on. Being a magazine-aholic, it's an easy job but somebody has to do it. Every week we get a few dozen magazines to go through so why should we figure out the highlights for you.

To start with Star magazine seems pretty focused on the fact that people are splitting up. Nick and Jessica are "fighting and crying", Brad and Jen might still be split and is Britney in agony over the fact that Kevin is in love with his ex?

I just saw Sync magazine which seems to be a cross between FHM and a Popular Mechanics. Do you like seeing hot girls playing with tech toys? This is for you.

Fit Pregnancy is talking about having sex while one is pregnant which just gives me the heebie jeebies. Honestly, speaking I don't think this is a subject we should plaster about.

Men's Health on the other hand has a "user's guide" to breasts which is one of the articles that are quite interesting but you'd never want to admit that you've read. Again, not the kind of subject one would like to admit is happening in this world.

Natural Health claims that animals can help heal you which goes against my theory that Doberman Pinchers are evil. Maybe it should better have been phrased, some animals can heal, others are just satanistic forms of evil. Find me a Doberman Pincher capable of healing.

I've also seen a copy of "Fine Gardening" from Taunon Press, which is easily, one of the coolest gardening magazines I've seen in a while. It's layout is hip and frankly seems to breath a fun look into a subject once the domain of people who've spoken to their flowers a bit too much.
