Dinah Lohan defends her daughter
After Lindsay Lohan received a much-publicized letter admonishing her for "irresponsible" behavior, mother Dinah tells "Access Hollywood" that "there is only so much a child can take."
"Maybe he has personal issues with whomever, and it came out with my child," Dinah says in the interview airing Monday. "I don't know him. I can't judge him. I don't think it was a smart thing to do to a young girl."
James G. Robinson, the CEO of Morgan Creek Productions, sent Lindsay a letter Thursday reprimanding the actress for her behavior on the set of "Georgia Rule."
"We are well aware that your ongoing all-night heavy partying is the real reason for your so-called 'exhaustion,'" Robinson wrote.
Lindsay has since returned to work after her hospitalization last Wednesday, in addition to making amends with Robinson, her representative tells the Hollywood Reporter.
"I've never had a minute's trouble with her. She's every inch a lady," Robinson said Friday. "I felt I needed to remind her of her obligations to show up."
