The long awaited 3D re-release of Disney's 1991 classic Beauty and the Beast finally hits theaters on Friday. And what better way for Disney-Pixar to celebrate this exciting event than by immediately starting to promote the next in what is likely to be a long line of enhanced, 3D rereleases?

According to Cinemablend.com, Finding Nemo will be next in line to hit theaters for a second time, and Disney-Pixar has released a short trailer in anticipation of the release.

Everybody remembers Finding Nemo, the heartbreaking tale of the adorable little clownfish who gets separated from his father and has to find his way back to the ocean while his father and an angel fish with a case of amnesia simultaneously make the long journey to find him. It's easy to see why Disney chose this film, the underwater computer-animated effects will be even more stunning in 3D than they were in just plain old 2D groundbreaking digital animation.

As Huffingtonpost.com reported, Finding Nemo was the second-highest grossing film of 2003 and the Academy Award winner for Best Animated Feature. It's another well-loved Disney-Pixar classic that a new generation of kids will love seeing on the big screen and an older generation will love seeing again.

Finding Nemo 3D will be swimming into theaters September 14, 2012.
