Disney World May Find the Next American Idol
Do you want to try out for American Idol but are afraid of television? Well, Disney has taken care of that. Walt Disney World Resorts in Florida have added an attraction that will allow visitors to try out for a daily American Idol, and according to E! News, will, in the future, be available for the show to hold their own tryouts.
E! News reports that any willing participants will be put through an audition and if they get through the audition they will then be invited back for one of that day's daily shows. They will then receive advice from a vocal coach and get a Hollywood makeover. Then they will perform in a show where audience members will play the three judges and the full audience will vote for their favorite. The performers with the most audience votes will compete at the end of the day and the winner will get a special pass to be a priority on the next tryouts for American Idol.
Simon Fuller, the creator of American Idol, said, "Disney's new attraction perfectly captures what we at American Idol feel is the heart and soul of this brand, real people getting a shot to make their dream a reality." So if you have that dream to be an idol, Disney may be able to make your dreams come true.
