Disturbed Tops This Week's Album Charts

Usher, who had last week's top album, finished at No. 3.

In a brief reminder that the record industry isn't completely dead, five albums sold over 100,000 copies this past week. The week was topped by Disturbed's Indestructible, which sold 253,000 units, according to Nielsen Soundscan.

It marks the third chart-topping album the group has had. Their 2002 release Believe sold 284,000 copies, and 239,000 units were sold of 2005's Ten Thousand Fists in their respective opening weeks.

The top 10 this week had six debuts an expanded version of an album the reemerged into a noteworthy position on the charts (Chris Brown's expanded edition of Exclusive, selling 36,000 units).

Number two for the week was held by Now That's What I Call Music, selling 185,000.

Weezer's self-titled "red" album sold 126,000 copies, placing it behind Usher's Here I Stand, which sold 145,000 copies in the week following its reign at the top spot.

Rounding out the top five was Journey's Revelation, which was only sold at Wal-Mart. It sold 105,000 copies and was the band's highest chart position in 12 years.

Ashanti's Declaration was No. 6 with 86,000 copies. Jewel's country album Perfectly Clear finished in eighth, moving 48,000 units.

Other notable performances were a disappointing debut from Gavin Rossdale's debut Wanderlust, finishing No. 32 with 15,000 copies sold. And Radiohead's Best Of moved 18,000, even though the band criticized its release.
