Do Something Awards Held In Hollywood

Award show dedicated to those who work for social change

VH1 held the 2010 Do Something awards at the Hollywood Palladium last night.

The awards show is dedicated to honoring people, both famous and not famous, who work for social change.

Jane Lynch, star of Glee, hosted the show, which included musical performances by Natasha Bedingfield, Lifehouse and Travie McCoy.

Megan Fox made an appearance at the awards as well, according to USA Today.

The Transformers and Jonah Hex star introduced one of the five finalists of the evening.

Kara DioGuardi, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul posed together at the event. American Idol had a nomination for Do Something TV show, but it was beat out in the category by Glee.

Christina Applegate won the Do Something Kickass for Survival award.

The actress is a breast cancer survivor. She founded Right Action for Women, a foundation that tries to help women at risk for breast cancer who cannot afford to get breast screenings, or the information and tests they need in order to fight the disease.

Jessica Posner was designated grand prize winner at the end of the night, thereby winner of $100,000.
