Does Michael Jackson Have Skin Cancer?
Michael Jackson has been diagnosed with skin cancer, according to a report by the British Sun. Cancer has been found on his upper body, pre-cancerous cells on his face. Doctors say the disease is perfectly treatable.
A source said: "Michael's tests showed spots of skin cancer on his body, and cells which could turn to skin cancer on his face. . . . He was at first very concerned, but says he has been assured by the doctors that they can treat this and he will recover."
The King of Pop himself assured everyone that his long awaited comeback shows in London will not be cancelled. The concerts start in July.
"Michael is really looking forward to his concerts and is determined to wow his fans at each and every gig. He said he's insisted that any treatment must fit around the concerts, and the show will go on," the source said.
Experts claim that skin cancer may be related to skin-bleaching treatments. In 2006, the FDA proposed banning over-the-counter bleaching creams for this reason. Jackson denies ever having had any such procedure.
