Dolly Parton and Jack White
Blonde icon Dolly Parton, the undisputed “Queen of Country,” is reportedly in need of a “cool career boost,” according to Jam! Showbiz. Though undoubtedly a legend in her own right, Parton is hoping to collaborate with White Stripes front man Jack White on an upcoming project – something sure to rock the world of country in a very different fashion than Taylor Swift’s heartbreak ballads have.
White, who produced country singer Loretta Lynn’s acclaimed 2004 album, Van Lear Rose, has neither denied nor confirmed the collaboration rumors, but in an interview with Spinner, Parton confessed that she has “thought about doing it.”
“[White] seems to be a fan, but who knows. You never know what I might do,” the buxom beauty teased, coyly refusing to divulge further details.
Pressed for a more affirmative response, Parton simply said that she is “certainly not opposed” to working with White on a future release, and concluded, “Lord only knows what I might do when I get a chance.”
