Donald Extends Invite to Rosie

As much as Donald Trump hates Rosie O'Donnell, even he is not above ratings. Apparently the billionaire personally asked for the former View co-host to be invited on his show "The Apprentice."

In what NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios chairman Ben Silverman promises to be "the most explosive version of 'The Apprentice' that anyone has seen," the upcoming installment will focus on celebrities.

NBC announced Monday on its Television Critics Association press tour that "The Apprentice" will return to the network's schedule, but with a twist. The competition will remain the same, but celebrity contestants, who have already succeeded in the world of business, will be competing for charity.

No celebrities have been named yet, but Silverman did say, "I think it'd be great to have Rosie on 'The Apprentice.' Donald personally told me to extend an invite to her."
