Donald Trump brings his golden touch to Hollywood
Hoping to expand his business empire even further, Donald Trump is establishing a Hollywood production company, which will be run by a former contestant of "The Apprentice," Trump's spokeswoman said Wednesday.
Season two contestant Andy Litinsky, will oversee the unnamed company, which will likely produce a television version of the board game "Monopoly" as one of its first projects, the Daily Variety reported.
"He's a very capable guy," Trump commented on Litinsky, who was initially "fired" from the show but later brought back as a project manager.
Trump has already begun gaining experience by producing the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants, along with his own hit reality show "The Apprentice," and is eager to use his new company to develop new programs.
"There's so many things being thrown at me, a lot of them based in L.A., I just thought it would be appropriate," he said. "It's a business I like."
