Donald Trump Fires Miss California Winner Carrie Prejean

Donald Trump fires Miss California Winner, Carrie Prejean for "contract violations" but Prejean disagrees.

Miss California, Carrie Prejean, has a legal team looking into the comments that were made by the Miss California winner and Executive Director Keith Lewis after she was fired last Wednesday. Prejean's lawyer came out with a statement on Wednesday stating that the director's comments about the Miss California winner was "bordering slander". When asked about taking legal action against Lewis, Prejean told host Sean Hannity, that she's not sure yet, and that her lawyers are looking into what is best for her.

During the interview on "The Sean Hannity Show", she backed up the statement she made at the Miss USA pageant during the interview portion where Perez Hilton asked about gay marriage. She believes that gay marriage should not be allowed because marriage should be between a man and a woman. She also told the host of the Fox News Channel show that she believes that Lewis had an "agenda", reports Access Hollywood.

"He actually came out with a statement saying he's deeply saddened and hurt that I gave the answer that I did and [he] reached out to Perez Hilton and apologized on my behalf. So from that moment on… this is why we're dealing with me being dethroned."

Lewis claimed that the 22-year-old lost her crown due to "contract violations," Prejean said that she followed her contract to the T and fulfilled her obligation as Miss California following the media event where Donald Trump allowed her to keep her crown after semi-nude photos leaked of the Miss California winner.

"This has nothing to do with me against any particular group or this has nothing to do with me hating gays or whatever… Bottom line, I answered a question at a beauty contest and now I'm being punished, I'm being dethroned because of the answer that I gave," she said.
