Dr. Murray Could Be Charged with Manslaughter

A law enforcement source indicated that Dr. Murray could be charged with manslaughter within the next two weeks, after one more search warrant is executed.

A law enforcement source told FOXNews.com, Wednesday, that Michael Jackson's doctor could be charged with manslaughter within the next two weeks. Investigators will likely execute this search warrant at a Los Angeles pharmacy.

Investigators had originally wanted to arrest Dr. Conrad Murray as early as next Wednesday, but decided to execute one more search warrant in order to gather more information against him. In addition, investigators had initially hoped to charge Murray with a more serious crime than manslaughter. However, prosecutors are concerned that a jury will not be able to charge him with more than that without a clear motive.

Not everyone agrees with the law enforcement's statement, however. The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office told Access Hollywood that this statement is "complete and totally false."

Furthermore, Access Hollywood reported that earlier this week, an attorney for Katherine Jackson, Michael Jackson's mother, told the Associated Press that she may file a wrongful death lawsuit against Murray.

Murray has been a suspect from the beginning of Jackson's death. NME Online Magazine reported that Murray allegedly administered the powerful anesthetic drug Propofol to Jackson just after midnight on the night he died. The drug was partly responsible for the cardiac arrest Jackson suffered that night.

Dr. Arnold Klein will also be charged in connection with Jackson's death. FOXNews.com reported that Klein, a Beverly Hills dermatologist, admitted to giving the painkiller drug Demerol to Jackson, who suffered from insomnia.
