Dr. Phil Counsels Pat O'Brien About His Alcohol Abuse
O'Brien confronts his demons fo a Dr. Phil television special.
Entertainment news television host Pat O'Brien opens up to Dr. Phil McGraw Wednesday night at 8 p.m. for a CBS special about substance abuse and living sober.
O'Brien was recently released from rehab for alcohol abuse after admitting he had a problem. The host of "The Insider" checked himself into rehab in March after several sexually-explicit voicemails from O'Brien to a woman were made public.
Dr. Phil says he held nothing back and grilled O'Brien about his alcohol problems, even asking him to explain his state of mind as he was leaving seven or eight different voicemails.
O'Brien returns to host "The Insider" on Thursday when it is expected he will apologize to his viewers.
