Drake’s latest album on Cash Money records, Take Care topped the Billboard top 200 chart this week. Drake sold over 600,000 albums. Michael Buble's Christmas holds the second place spot on the charts with a big 35 percent sales gain, selling 165,000.

Billboard reported that the overall sales number was lower than expected, but the overall sales numbers are still good for this time of year and current climate. Most albums that have been released this year have come in below the estimated sale numbers, but Drake's Take Care has impressive sales numbers regardless.

This year Drake is the third artist to sell that many albums in one week. The second place spot goes to Lil’ Wayne with Tha Carter IV and in the number one spot is Lady Gaga with Born This Way.

Take Care is Drake's second chart-topper, following 2010's Thank Me Later, which launched with 447,000 in album sales.

Next week it is predicted that Nickelback will be taking the number one spot away from Drake with their new album, Here and Now, but Drake is enjoying his currently success, In a recent interview with AceShowbiz, Drake said he owed fans a number one album release. Drake thanked his fans for support of his music and expressed that more music would be coming soon.
