The-Dream Filed for Divorce Days Before Child was Born

Just nine days before their daughter Violet was born, The-Dream filed for divorce from his estranged wife, Christina Milian.

Just recently, there were photos shown of The-Dream with his manager at the beach. The two were very close and holding each other. The-Dream then claimed that his marriage was over in late 2009 to cover up for the photos.

TMZ is reporting that The-Dream filed divorce papers on February 17, which was nine days before Christina gave birth. The papers were filed in Georgia and the music producer said that the marriage is "irretrievably broken" and that "there is no hope for reconciliation."

The pair married in Las Vegas on September 4, 2009, which was the first of three ceremonies. They were first spotted together in January '09 when Christina appeared alongside the Atlanta native at a listening session for his sophomore album.

Milian gave birth on February 26 to her first child, while this was the fourth for The=Dream. Christina announced that she was pregnant just shortly after their Vegas wedding.
