Drew Barrymore Opens Up About Her Role in New Film
Drew Barrymore told the Los Angeles Times that she didn't like wearing cheese, of which she was required, in the new "Grey Gardens" movie.
Never Been Kissed movie actress Drew Barrymore admitted while talking at her Grey Gardens premiere, Thursday night, that she hated wearing cheese in the new film.
She portrays a 50-year-old woman named Edith "Little Edie" Bouvier Beale, according to the Los Angeles Times.
"When I got that cheese taken off my arms each night I was like, oh, thank god!! So good to know where it's headed!" said a rosy-cheeked Barrymore. "So I appreciate this time. I started weight training and roller jogging for 'Whip It' and then I got really in shape and I was like, oh, I better keep this up -- it makes me feel good."
Barrymore also confesses that besides fat suits, her character's culture, way of thinking and time era, was a challenge within itself.
