Dunder Mifflin becomes real life paper company

Office fans rejoice, Dunder Mifflin products have hit the shelves!

Reuters reported the fictional paper company now has products that are available at Staples.

The two-year deal was finalized by Staples-owned Quill.com and NBC Universal, allowing consumers to buy reams of Dunder-Mifflin paper for $34.99 per 20-pound box, which equals 5,000 sheets.

The paper can be bought from Quill.com, whose next cheapest 20-pound box of paper costs $39.90.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, NBC will reap about six percent of the paper profits.

Michael Scott would have had a thing or two to say about that, and we're sure Robert California does too.

The Chronicle added the $3 billion per year North American paper industry has suffered a three percent decline in recent years due to an increase in e-mail and PDF use.

While comedy-based paper is a cute item to have, there may be a few problems. Not only is Dunder Mifflin now Sabre, Staples is one of its biggest on-screen rivals. But then again, if the office supply company can find a way to incorporate the jingle below in an ad or two, it probably won't have a hard time finding customers.
