Dylan set to release new album

Bob Dylan to release his 44th album on Aug. 29

Singer-songwriter Bob Dylan's new album will be released on Aug. 29 according to Columbia Records.

The new record will have 10 original songs, by Dylan and his band. The album will be tilted "Modern Times" and will be the third in a trilogy which includes his 1997 release "Time Out of Mind" and 2001's "Love and Theft" - both were Grammy winners.

Tracks that appear on the new album include "When The Deal Goes Down," "Spirit on the Water," "Thunder on the Mountain" and "Workingman's Blues," according to Columbia.

"Bob is that rare artist whose music defies all trends and resonates throughout all levels of our culture, and he continues to be as contemporary and relevant as any artist in music," Columbia Records Chairman Steve Barnett said.This will be Dylan's 44th album.
