E-40 Concert Turns Deadly as Five People Get Shot
Denver police reported that there was a shooting Saturday morning outside a club after a performance by rapper E-40. No arrests have been made as police are still searching for suspects.
Club Vinyl is known for having cops around its premises since fights are very common at the nightclub. According to witnesses, there were around 100 people standing outside the club soon after the concert ended when the shooting began. Five people where reported injured and one of them is in critical condition. A witness speaking to Rocky Mountain News said that the critically injured victim seemed to be in his 20s and was shot in the neck.
What triggered the incident is still under review and unclear. Some eyewitnesses said that they saw three men shooting at another group. One of the attackers was reportedly carrying a knife.
The Denver Police Department has provided no other comments since Sunday and it's still unclear whether the victims were concertgoers or bystanders.
