Eat Subway the Chuck Way

Chuck fans are advised to go to Subway to keep the show on air.

There's a new way to speak out to producers about canceling shows . . . and it involves—lunchmeat. According to www.dailyfinance.com, dozens of Chuck fans have followed their fearless leader, Zachary Levi, and have begun to go to Subway and buy sandwiches.

The sandwich shop was featured on, and is a sponsor of, the show. The show's second season finale was last night, and network execs at NBC are thinking of canceling the show, as the ratings have decreased.

This is the latest method fans have employed to save the show. A @savechuck Twitter has been launched and already has 1,500 fans, after only a week. The idea is to get enough fans to be vocal and stand up for the show by May 5. That's when the network will decide if Chuck—a show about a man who becomes an asset to National Security—will be back for a third season.

Fans are showing their support in force, going to Subway, using the Web site, and becoming fans on Twitter. They can also go to Hulu.com and watch episodes of the show online.
