Eddie Van Halen Marries
Guitarist Eddie Van Halen is no longer a bachelor. According to People, he married his girlfriend of three years, Janie Liszewski, on Saturday.
The ceremony took place at Van Halen's home in California. The groom's son, Wolfgang, was best man and his brother, Alex, officiated the nondenominational ceremony. Ex-wife Valerie Bertinelli was among the guests.
The dress was casual, as the entire wedding party wore cotton pants, shirts and flip-flops. But the rings were custom-designed by the couplea gold band with yellow diamonds for Eddie and a platinum band for Janie.
As Eddie has been sober for a year and a half now, the toasts were made with non-alcoholic sparkling apple cider and pear juice. The guests had choices from a lemonade bar to complement the large array of food.
The couple will be spending their honeymoon in New York, Germany and the Netherlands.
