Electra Talks About Engagement

Carmen Electra let reporters in on her new engagement to Korn guitarist, Rob Patterson.

E! News was there when Carmen Electra opened up about her new engagement during a break at the Coachella music festival. She and Rob Patterson, the guitarist for Korn, announced their engagement last week.

The twice-divorced star said, "We are happy. We're going to take things slow." She said that the two of them are in no hurry to get married, even though most people seem to believe they are going to head to the altar quickly. She stated, "We are happy with the way things are."

Patterson apparently asked Electra to be a wife, again, on her 36th birthday. And it seemed Electra had no idea it was going to happen. "I was very surprised," Electra gushed.

The couple likes to keep things on the down low, which is a bit different for the Strip-aerobics instructor. Her engagement to David Navarro of Jane's Addiction, was filmed for an MTV reality show, Til Death Do Us Part. The couple divorced after three years of marriage.
