Eli Manning Gets MRI on Leg

The New York Giants quarterback got an MRI on his right leg after injuring it in Sunday's win against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The New York Times reports Giants quarterback Eli Manning underwent a precautionary MRI on his right leg on Monday. Manning injured his right heel in Sunday's 27-16 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. He states injury is nothing serious.
According to the New York Daily News, Manning injured his heel on a in the 4th quarter on a play where he hopped up in the air to pass and landed awkwardly on his foot. He stayed in the game for one more play; a 54 yard touchdown pass to rookie wide receiver Hakeem Nicks.
Newsday states that Manning said about his foot "I'm not nervous about the MRI. I think it's just something you have to do. I don't think it's going to come back with new information that's going to make this seem worse than what it is."
