Elisabeth Takes a Break from The View

With Elisabeth Hasselbeck on maternity leave, "The View" will bring in a diverse lineup of guest co-hosts. Viewers will hear the opinions of LaToya Jackson, former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, comedian Kathy Griffin, former Fox News Channel anchor E.D. Hill, and John McCain's daughter, Meghan McCain.

Hasselbeck will be absent from the show until mid-October.

Hasselbeck's Republican viewpoints will be missed and may even cause debates among the remaining, mostly-Democratic co-hosts to lessen. Perhaps one of the highly anticipated guests will aid in getting some of Hasselbeck's beliefs across.

Hasselbeck gave birth to her third child on Aug. 9 with husband and former NFL quarterback, Tim Hasselbeck. The newest addition to the family, Isaiah Timothy, will join sister Grace Elisabeth, 4, and brother Taylor Thomas, 21 months.
