Ellen DeGeneres's Fourth Daytime Emmy

The talk show host is yet again honored with a Daytime Emmy.

Ellen DeGeneres won her fourth Daytime Emmy, BBC News reports.

This is the fourth time in a row that the talk show host received an Emmy for her contributions. The ceremony was held at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre, Yahoo! News reveals.

DeGeneres, 50, beat Regis Philbin, Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg to the punch.

As California has legalized same-sex marriages, DeGeneres revealed that the wedding date had been set as she and her partner Portia de Rossi can't wait to tie the knot, BBC News outlines.

DeGeneres said: "I obviously feel like it's long overdue. . . . I think someday people will look back on this like women not having the right to vote, and segregation, and anything else that seems ridiculous that we didn't have all the same rights."
