Ellen Gets Her Wish of Being on the Cover of "O" Magazine!
It was the usual start to Ellen's daytime talk show. She danced, she joked, and she got invited to be on the cover of O Magazine by Oprah Winfrey herself! You know, the usual.
For weeks, Ellen has been campaigning about how she wants to be on the cover of O Magazine. She even had mock O Magazine covers created featuring Ellen.
Well, after first lady Michelle Obama was the first to share the front cover with Ms. Winfrey, Oprah decided to share the cover once again with Ellen DeGeneres.
Just as Ellen was about to introduce her first guest, Paul Rudd, onto her show, she got a video call from Oprah. Oprah was thrilled by the idea of having Ellen on the cover, saying it was "a fantastic idea, I was only sorry that I did not think of it myself. So I am calling to officially invite you on the cover of O."
"I am freaking out right now," exclaimed Ellen. "Now my goal is going to be for this to be the biggest selling issue you've ever had, because I want that to happen."
Oprah was happy to accommodate Ellen's wish to wear pants on the cover and even said she just might wear pants too.
