Grey's Anatomy star engaged to boyfriend of three years

Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo is now engaged to her boyfriend, Chris Ivery, Pompeo's publicist confirmed to the Associated Press on Monday.

Ivery, 38, proposed to the actress on Friday, her 37th birthday after the tow finished breakfast at their home, publicist Jennifer Allen told the AP. The two have been dating for three years, but no wedding date has been set.

The engagement was first reported by US Weekly on its website.
