Ellen Pompeo Pregnant!

Meredith Grey may not be ready for babies, but the real life actress is! As fans anxiously await new episodes of Grey's Anatomy, the show's star, Ellen Pompeo, announced that she and husband music producer Chris Ivery are having their first child.

Jennifer Allen, a rep for Pompeo confirmed the news to People. Allen added, "They're ecstatic."

Pompeo, 39, and husband Ivery, 41, met in 2003 and have been married since November 2007. New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg officiated the wedding in an intimate ceremony.

Along with Pompeo, her on-screen half-sister, Little Grey, played by Chyler Leigh, is also expecting. She announced her pregnancy late last year and this will be the actress's third child. Leigh, 26, and husband, actor Nathan West, 30, have a 5-year-old son, Noah Wilde, and a 2-year-old daughter, Taelyn.
