Ellen Wins Gold at the Emmys

All of that freestyle dancing, joke telling, and celebrity interviewing paid off for talk show host and funnywoman Ellen DeGeneres on Friday when she received two Daytime Emmy Awards for her daytime talk show. She attended the event, held at New York City's Radio City Music Hall, with her latest girlfriend Portia De Rossi, and impressed her date by nabbing the golden statues for Outstanding Talk Show and Outstanding Talk Show Host. Stealing the show isn't a new phenomenon for "The Ellen DeGeneres Show"- it won the Outstanding Talk Show award last year as well. But it was the comic's first time taking home the Outstanding Talk Show Host award, and she was ecstatic. "Oh, man, I love my job. It's basically just sitting there and listening to people talking. It's like a bartender," she told the crowd. Only a bartender doesn't show up on the cover of Allure Magazine and pocket millions of dollars.
